Professional accounting services agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Clark Joan F CPA, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Professional Services
Clark Joan F CPA provides professional accounting, tax preparation, and business consultation services. All services are provided in accordance with applicable professional standards and regulations.
- Tax preparation and filing services
- Bookkeeping and accounting services
- Financial statement preparation
- Business consultation and advisory services
- Audit support and representation
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete financial information
- Maintaining proper books and records
- Timely payment of fees for services rendered
- Cooperation in the provision of requested documents
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Confidentiality
Clark Joan F CPA maintains strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with professional standards and applicable laws. Client information will not be disclosed to third parties without proper authorization, except as required by law or professional standards.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for services are based on the complexity and time required for completion. Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Late payments may be subject to additional charges.
6. Limitation of Liability
The liability of Clark Joan F CPA for any claim arising from professional services shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. Clark Joan F CPA shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
7. Professional Standards
All services are provided in accordance with:
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Internal Revenue Code and regulations
- Professional standards of the AICPA
- State licensing requirements
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the professional relationship with written notice. Upon termination, all fees for services rendered shall become immediately due and payable.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from professional services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Loudoun County, Virginia.
